Dan is a loving father of two junior Ty collectors.
He is a Ty Beanie Baby enthusiast with 25 years of collecting and appraising experience.
Dan is well known within the Ty Community and has helped many people buy and sell their Ty products since the launch of his Facebook group “CANADA Ty Beanie Buy Sell Show”.
He created Canada Ty from his passion to educate people on the values of their Ty products and to stop the misinformation seen throughout the internet of what is and isn’t rare. Members are encouraged to post their #TyFinds and show their collections.

He is an avid collector of rare Ty Beanie Babies, with a focus on Beanies that are nostalgic and true pieces of Ty Inc.'s history.  His Ty’s that are signed and numbered by Ty Warner are his personal favorites.
He is the webmaster of Ty Storage Wars and educating everyone about Ty Beanies and the advantages of posting auctions is the goal.
